Garage/Guy talks.
I was over to my buddy Keith Roberts house just hanging in his two bay garage just working on his dad's little car that he had just gotten. Me, Kyle (Keith's dad) and Keith got talking about all things under the sun. From girls to cars. You name it, we talked about it. Me and Keith suddenly got talking about one thing, relationships. Now neither nor I are in a relationship, but, we do happen to have a friend that is in one and is going through a rough patch in his relationship. We were saying to ourselves how thankful we were that we didn't have to deal with all that annoying bullsh** on a daily basis and laughing about it. We then got talking again and realized how bad we felt for our buddy who's going through a rough patch. I'm not going to be naming any names of the couple or even my buddies name, but I will say this, if you are reading this and you are one those people, or if you are reading this and you know which people I'm talking about, just stop fighting. End of story
Suby rugged
Everybody has that one vehicle that they love. Whether it be a Bugatti or a Toyota tercel hatchback. It's yours. I have suby rugged. Suby rugged isn't actually my first vehicle, before the suby I had a 1986 jeep Cherokee 2 door named The Turd Burglar. I couldn't have asked for a better first vehicle. That jeep made last summer one of the greatest yet. I worked the beginning of the summer and saved up enough to buy the jeep and register it, and I finally had something I could call mine. I think that may be why me and friends get so into our vehicles, because they are ours and they reflect us and what we do as people.
The jeep is currently at my dads and needs the brakes bled. (For sale btw). I now have a 98 suby legacy outback. It's one of my favorites just because of the awd and the whole concept of subarus. I like the way the sound, the way they ride, and the way that they look.
Its not about how fast they car is or if it has all the nicest parts or nicest wheels and tires. it's all about what you make it. I can honestly say that I've made Suby Rugged in to what she is today. All the bangor rides, the back road rides with the boys and all the late night rides across silver and alamosook lakes. Nothing beats a late night ride, jammin' with your friends because you can actually take everybody cause you drive a suby wagon. its actually pretty great.

The Music
You can tell anything about a person by what type of music that they listen to. Everybody has that one genre, one song, or even one artist that they love.
Mine is country music. you can't go wrong with country music, there is a song for every moment in your life in country songs. From sad depressing country where they talk about drinking there problems away, or the country songs where they talk about there jacked up trucks and sitting by the bonfire drinking.
I was born in Orland, Maine which if you know where that is, you know that it is quite redneck heaven. So i was brought up listening to country music and it is gonna stay that way until probably the day i die. All of you that are reading this blog have all listened to music before or at least i hope you have.. but do you actually listen to the lyrics? maybe you do and that is why you like the music that you do. That is why i love country music. Cause it talks about everything that i can relate to and most of the time the songs are upbeat, and everybody loves an upbeat song.
For me, i just don't understand other music genres like i understand country music. When i listen to rap i usually just listen to the beat and if I'm lucky I'll listen to the chorus, but with rap i can never understand what the hell they're even saying.
Oldies rock and roll i don't mind because i can understand the words and the music is catchy.
Punk rock, screamo, classical, r&b, soul, and many others, you all may love them and you have your reasons, but country music is my kind of music. it's in my blood and it's where i come from.

Din Din
There is nothing better then hanging out with your best friends. On Wednesday, nate, Mitch, josh and I all went out to eat at The Harborview. The food was delicious and the service was great. But all that wasn't even the best part. The best part was just being there with my friends. Nothing can compare to the talks that you have with your friends. Those our the moments that you cherish for a very long time. Mitch an josh bickered at each other in a joking matter, nate devoured his burger within two minutes of getting it and i sat there and just took everything in. Now I know you're probably thinking to yourself, tell me some of the stuff that you and the guys talk about. See that's the thing, I can't. The secrets between us all, are the things that make us the best of friends.
Driftin
Today from noon time right through until tomorrow night we are suppose to be getting a giant snowstorm, that only means one thing, drifting. I have a 98 subaru outback and my buddy has a 99 Toyota Tacoma, both of them aren't top of the line machines but they get the job done. My buddy logan and I stay up all night just waiting for that perfect amount of snow, when the time finally comes, we venture out to our favorite spot (can't reveal the spot). Drifting is more than just sliding around in an empty parking lot with your car that you think is more badass than it really is. It's a sense of freedom. When we're out there sliding around, we have no worries.
Everybody in this giant world we live in has different hobbies, mine just happens to be a little crazier.
The best part about where I live is that almost everyone enjoys the same hobbies. So that means when we go out drifting usually a bunch of my buddies join in the fun either by bringing there own rigs or just hopping in with one of us.
I hope we get pounded by the snow tonight. But everyone be safe and stay warm.
